A restored 1919 plantation style building, once the site of Paia’s historic Hew Store and a remnant of the 1946 tsunami, is the sun kissed architecture of Puka Puka’s boutique and gallery. Named after the utmost remote atoll in the South Seas and the utopia of a castaway novel written in the early twentieth century. Puka Puka presents unique objects, jewelry, fashion, interior and music adjacent to fine art and limited edition prints.
